We have a new building in DeMotte 822 S Halleck, but there still are, and always will be, jelly beans on the front counter, and someone who is eager to help you. We know you have choices when it comes to tax work, payroll and bookkeeping, we appreciate you choosing us!

Team Profiles

Brandon S. Ruppel, EA graduated December 2015 from Purdue University with a Bachelor degree in Accounting. While attending Purdue, Brandon worked in the family business for 5 plus years doing Accounting, Payroll, Payroll taxes, Bank reconciliations, Personal Property Taxes and anything else brought before him. He is excited to be on the team here in DeMotte and North Judson to serve you. As of October 2024, Brandon has passed his Enrolled Agent exam and is now a practicing certified EA. This allows Brandon the highest certificate the IRS grants for specializing in taxation and is licensed to practice by the United States Government. EAs may represent taxpayers without limitation before the IRS.

Michael Padgett attended Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee and received an undergrad degree in Exercise and Health Science and a Masters of Business Administration. He served his alma mater as the Graduate Assistant for Intramurals. After graduating, he worked for a year at Amazon in Chattanooga, Tennessee before moving to Fowler, Indiana. Michael is the face of Drees & Associates in the DeMotte office and handles payrolls, personal property taxes, and bank reconciliations. He enjoys meeting new people and loves to follow the Atlanta Braves baseball team.

Sharron Padgett attended Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee and graduated with a degree in Christian Education. After serving her alma mater in the areas of Student Development, Academics, and Finance for over 30 years, she and her husband relocated to Indiana in December 2021 to be closer to family. She is the face of Drees & Associates in North Judson and handles payrolls, personal property taxes, and billing. Her passion is knowing the client has been heard, assisted in the best way possible, and looks forward with joy to assisting them in the next tax season.

Tracy Day, a 2003 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business focused on Marketing, brings a high level of professionalism and attention to detail to every interaction. Tracy’s responsibilities will include processing payroll and scheduling appointments, ensuring seamless operations and a positive experience for clients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, visiting state parks, and learning new hobbies. Tracy is excited to join the DeMotte office and looks forward to working with the community.
